Light Duty Z and S Channels
MEADRAIN high strength polymer concrete channels are available with galvanised steel and stainless steel edge rails. The Z and S channels can be fitted with pedestrian-friendly architectural grates to add style and function to walkways. Light Duty grates are available in Stainless steel, Ductile Iron, Galvanised steel and plastic.
Heavy Duty All Purpose
To suit the demands of high traffic areas, MEADRAIN combines its high strength polymer concrete channels with Heavy Duty grates and locking mechanisms. MEADRAIN polymer concrete is manufactured to withstand heavy traffic loads and is highly resistant to liquid chemicals. Heavy Duty grates are available in Galvanised steel, Stainless steel, Ductile Iron and Composite.
Main Roads Fast Moving Heavy Duty Traffic
To support water catchment in areas with high density fast moving traffic, MEADRAIN has the solution. Extra Heavy Duty Ductile iron grates are securely bolted to polymer concrete channels with rigid cast iron edge rails to provide a high performance channel system. The smooth inner surfaces of the channel play an important part in the outstanding discharge capacity of MEA systems, enabling sealed surfaces to drain extremely efficiently. MEADRAIN is being used in large highway projects all around the world.
Extra Heavy Duty Dock Areas / Airports
MEADRAIN provides a professional approach to line drainage in Extra Heavy Duty applications. MEADRAIN systems can reliably withstand the strain of heavy loads including repeated: aircraft taxiing; container transportation and special vehicle manoeuvres. This is thanks to a combination of the cast iron edges set in ultra-strong polymer concrete, and the inflow gratings made of ductile
iron. MEADRAIN is installed at airports around the world.
Drainage Pits and Extension Risers
MEADRAIN polymer concrete pits and risers provide a robust, fast and cost-effective solution for point drainage and electrical pit requirements. Install is quick, and handling is much easier than heavier concrete alternatives.
Standard sizes are available from 300x300mm to 900x900mm c/o. Depths can be increased by simply adding MEADRAIN riser extensions to suit.
