Using a continuous or semi-continuous narrow grate, the revolutionary SlimDrain™ drainage system helps eliminate dangerous surface 'sheet' stormwater commonly found in large paved areas. This ponding effect can cause loss of vehicle control and is often seen in traditional continuous gullies and pits.
SlimDrain™ drainage system consists of a riser and grate box, fitted into a continuous slot in the top of a reinforced concrete pipe. This pipe is concreted in place up to the surface, allowing a smooth 'bikesafe' grate, flush with the roadway. Various pipe sizes allow excellent hydraulics to suit the application, and the system's compatible grate lengths, robust design and 2-hour fire rating confirm its durability.
